Details
  • [Packers vs Cowboys] From PostCrescent.com Blog: Brandon Jackson looked quicker and more effective running the ball than did Ryan Grant, who is recovering from injuries. However, Grant carried the pigskin 13 times to only three for Jackson, instilling the fear that money talks. Grant signed a multi-million dollar contract and that is why he is playing injured instead of the healthy Jackson.
  • [Bears vs Bucs] SI's Peter King tabs Ruud as defensive player of the week
  • [Bears vs Bucs] Mike Brown calls Bears loss 'disgusting'
  • [Rams vs Seahawks] Fans make feelings very clear to Brown
  • Boos cascade down on Brown in return to Seattle
  • [Eagles vs Steelers] Among the random thoughts Peter King though he "liked about Week 3": "There aren't many middle linebackers stopping the run better than Philly's Stewart Bradley."
  • [Eagles vs Steelers] With Eagles' Westbrook out, Buckhalter steps right in and scores game's only TD
  • [Redskins vs Cardinals] Sunday’s game marked Arizona CB Ralph Brown’s 100th career game.
  • [Chiefs vs Falcons] Chiefs linebacker Demorrio Williams recovered a muffed punt Sunday after Falcons returner Adam Jennings misplayed a short hop, sending the ball a few yards behind him.
Maybe it was that Williams knows the field and its tendencies. He played in Atlanta his first four seasons before the Chiefs acquired him this spring.
“No matter where I was — I could’ve been in Seattle — the key thing is trying to win the game,” Williams said. “Just trying to make a play for this team.”
He said he wasn’t blocked during the play. When Jennings misplayed the ball, Williams fell on it at the Falcons’ 41. But the Chiefs turned the ball over on downs near Atlanta’s goal line.
