Details
  • [Raiders vs Broncos] Fabian Washington was able to get inside and make a low-to-the-ground interception that was upheld upon review. The Raiders then went on a long drive for a touchdown. (Rocky Mountain News)
  • [Panthers vs 49ers] It's a fun day for Rucker
  • 6:44 left in the 1st quarter: Defensive end Mike Rucker breaks into the San Francisco backfield as receiver Arnaz Battle gets the ball on a reverse.
Rucker hits Battle and the ball pops loose. Defensive tackle Damione Lewis recovers at the Carolina 47, and that sets up a 19-yard field goal to give the Panthers a 3-0 lead.
  • [Panthers vs 49ers] Rucker comes up big
  • Panthers' head coach John Fox on the play of Mike Rucker: On the performance of defensive end Mike Rucker, who had 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble: I think that's why Mike Rucker is so well respected here by the fans, definitely by the coaching staff and I know by his teammates. He's been kind of a model guy since he's been here. You almost expect it of him. When he got injured, it was late in the season. To come back in the amount of time he did is a tribute to what he's all about, his work ethic and how he attacks things. Lesser guys would not even be playing, let alone starting and performing at a progressive level, I think, all this season. (Panthers.com)
  • [Cardinals vs Browns] Neither team could move the ball in the second half, until Joshua Cribbs muffed a punt stumbling over Daven Holly with 3:46 to play in the third quarter and former Browns defensive back Ralph Brown recovered at the Browns’ 22. The Cardinals extended their lead to 21-10... (Cle.Scout.com)
  • (Ralph Brown) had tight coverage early in the game in the end zone on a pass to Joe Jurevicius. Later on, he quickly recovered Cribbs' muffed punt. (DawgsByNature.com)
  • [Eagles vs Seahawks] Correll Buckhalter had a solid game with 4 carries for 37 yards (9.3 ypc) with a TD run. (EaglesLocker.com)
