Details
  • Huskers.com Week 12
  • Bengals vs Browns: Cincy punter Kyle Larson entered this game without a single touchback in the Bengals last seven games. That tells us two things. First, Larson does an outstanding job dropping punts inside the 20 yard line. During this run, Larson dropped 17 punts inside the 20, helping the Bengals consistently win the field position battle. Secondly, when the Bengals get a drive going, they tend to get points - this offense doesn't stall very often. They certainly didn't stall today. (SportsMemo.com)
  • Saints vs Falcons: New Orleans CB DeJuan Groce sustained a neck injury while blocking a punt return early in the fourth quarter. X-rays were negative. (Forbes.com)
  • Vick dodged a bullet when he was sacked by Scott Shanle, but safety Omar Stoutmire was guilty of defensive holding on that third down that gave the Falcons a new set of downs. (NewOrleansProFootball.com)
  • The Saints suffered one injury, to nickelback DeJuan Groce who went in for x-rays for a possible neck injury. X-rays were negative, but Groce left the game in the fourth quarter for good. Groce also dropped Vick in the backfield for a big loss in the third quarter, but it was registered as a carry for minus six yards, not a sack. Groce was abused in pass coverage, but got away with it thanks to some key Falcon drops. (NewOrleansProFootball.com)
  • Rams vs 49ers: The Rams lost center Richie Incognito with a sprained foot; Brett Romberg filled in. X-rays showed no break. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
