Details
  • Patriots 35-Bills 7: Starting defensive end Chris Kelsay offered consistent pressure on the pocket and support in the run game. Kelsay posted three tackles and a hit on the quarterback. (BuffaloBills.com)
  • Seahawks 41-49ers 3: Josh Brown drilled a 52-yard field goal at the end of the next possession to give the Seahawks a 24-3 lead. Later Brown wound up missing on a 50-yard field goal try as time ran out at the half. (Seattle PI)
  • Vikings 27-Rams 13: Rams rookie Ryan Fitzpatrick finished 26-for-45 for 235 yards, but his five interceptions could easily have been eight - Ralph Brown dropping an easy one in the first quarter. (AP)
  • Titans 13-Texans 10: Kris Brown hooked a 31-yard field goal short and wide left on an untimed play with no time left even as Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher was trying to call a timeout, and the Titans held on for a 13-10 victory Sunday over the hapless Texans. Brown also had a 37-yard field goal attempt blocked by Tank Williams with 3:48 left.
The Titans sacked Carr six times, including two by Kyle Vanden Bosch for a career-high 12 1/2 sacks this season. They held the Texans to 234 yards offense, and Vanden Bosch called the ending crazy.
"I thought we won, then I thought they brought it back. Then I thought the game was over, then I thought we were going to overtime. Then we ended up winning. It was crazy," Vanden Bosch said. (AP)
