Details
  • 11/14/05 - Patriots 23-Dolphins 16: Patriots C Dan Koppen sustained what the Patriots said was an arm injury with less than three minutes left in the third quarter. He did not return and was replaced by Russ Hochstein.
  • 11/13/05 - Packers 33-Falcons 25: An interception by Falcons LB Demorrio Williams allowed Atlanta to tie Green Bay at 14 with a touchdown on the ensuing drive. Williams led the Falcons with 13 solo tackles and also forced a fumble. (courant.com)
  • 11/13/05 - Bears 17-49ers 9: Mike Brown intercepted a pass in the San Francisco red zone and 49ers rookie guard Adam Snyder was called for a personal foul for hitting Brown late on the 6-yard interception return. Unfortunately, Chicago QB Kyle Orton threw the golden opportunity, tossing a pass into Shawntae Spencer's arms in the end zone. (SF49ers.com, SF Chronicle)
  • 11/13/05 - Broncos 31-Raiders 17: Oakland's Jake Grove saw his first action at center since undergoing surgery on his right knee Oct. 3. He replaced Adam Treu after Treu told Turner in the third quarter: "Hey, I'm not helping us out there." Treu said a chronic left knee problem flared up and made it too painful for him to be effective. (ContraCostaTimes.com)
  • Broncos WR Rod Smith allowed a catch from Jake Plummer to bounce from his hands in the third quarter and rookie cornerback Fabian Washington recovered at the Denver 37. Six plays later, Sebastian Janikowski atoned for an earlier miss from 45 yards out to connect on a 40-yard field goal with 12:03 remaining. The Broncos' advantage slipped to 23-10. (SF Chonicle)
  • In their post-game "report card" the Contra Costa Times noted "Washington recovered a fumble but also got beat for a 37-yard reception on third-and-seven."
