Details
  • 10/05 - Week 7 recap from Huskers.com
  • 10/24/05 - Cardinals 20-Titans 10: Former Cardinals DE Kyle Vanden Bosch, who signed with Tennessee last off-season, had a sack and pressured quarterback Josh McCown several other times.
"I tried not to make it personal this week," said Vanden Bosch, who spent four years with the Cardinals. "Now we've got ourselves in a hole that's going to be tough to dig out of." (The Arizona Republic)
  • 10/24/05 - Green To Miss The Rest Of The Season
  • 10/23/05 - Seahawks 13-Cowboys 10: The Cowboys entered the game with 20 sacks through first six weeks, averaging 3.33 a game. But Bradie James' takedown of Matt Hasselbeck in the second quarter was the only sack recorded by the Cowboys on Sunday. However, they did force the Seattle quarterback to get called for intentional grounding twice, including one in the fourth-quarter when linebacker Scott Shanle nearly had Hasselbeck to the ground before his underhanded toss to no one in the flat drew a penalty. (DallasCowboys.com)
Shanle started in place of an injured Dat Nguyen and made two tackles.
  • Josh Brown connected on a 50-yard field goal as time expired to lift Seattle to a thrilling 13-10 comeback win over Dallas at Qwest Field. (AP)
Brown had hit a 55-yard field goal attempt earlier in the game.
  • Seahawks DE Grant Wistrom made 9 tackles (7 solo) and had 1 sack.
  • Josh Brown FG Wins it for Seahawks
  • Brown's confidence kicked up a notch
  • 10/23/05 - Ahman Green leaves with knee injury
  • 10/22/05 - Kansas City Chiefs: One week after Eric Warfield wasn’t activated for the Washington game — which caused an uproar among fans — he started Friday at right cornerback. It was the first action for Warfield since the 2004 season, when he was considered the top player in the secondary. Warfield missed the first four games this season because of an NFL suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy. He didn’t suit up last week because the coaches didn’t think he was ready. That changed late Sunday when cornerback Dexter McCleon went down because of a groin injury. (KC Star)
