  • Seahawks kicker Josh Brown was 3/3, hitting field goals from 33, 44, and 28 yards.
  • 10/09/05 - Cowboys 33-Eagles 10: Scott Shanle replaced injured linebacker Dat Nguyen (neck) in the starting lineup and recorded three tackles for the game, which tied for third best on the team.
The Eagles' longest completion was a 23-yard pass to Terrell Owens in the second half. "I think when they got to those short routes, we did a good job of tackling them underneath and just matching up on the routes they were trying to run," linebacker Scott Shanle said. "A lot of their passing game is short, precise routes that, even when you watch film, even though teams cover it, unless you're really on them they'll still stick it in there. I think we did a good job as far as that goes." (DallasCowboys.com)

After penalties and miscues on the subsequent drive however, the Bears were held to a 44-yard field goal, tying the score 3-3 with 9:01 left in the second quarter. (ChicagoBears.com)
