- Titans DE Kyle Vanden Bosch trampled OT Blaine Saipaia for his second sack of the game, resulting in a fumble recovery and a game-tying touchdown.
- When the Titans signed Vanden Bosch, they could not have known they were getting such a boost to their pass rush. After all, Vanden Bosch, picked up from Arizona for the veteran minimum, had just five career sacks and had missed two full years with knee injuries.
With two more sacks Sunday, including a strip of Marc Bulger that led to Antwan Odom’s 25-yard TD return, Vanden Bosch has now matched that total in just two weeks.
"We knew coming in with the type offense they have they like to do some seven-step drops, and try to get the receivers deep,” Vanden Bosch said. “So we put it on our front four. We said we have to get some pressure with just a four-man rush this week, and we did that early on." (Nashville City Paper)
