  • Seahawks 20 Redskins 10: Josh Brown made both of his field goals to contribute to the Seahawks' win, both in the fourth quarter. His 31-yard kick gave Seattle a 17-3 lead with 14:16 left in the game. Then came a 33-yarder with 2:54 left for the game's last points.
  • Bryce Fisher, Grant Wistrom and Chuck Darby all were monsters. It was as fine a performance by the defensive line as they’ve had all season, with constant pressure on quarterback Mark Brunell, while holding explosive running back Clinton Portis to 41 yards.
All week the word out of Washington was the Redskins are much tougher than the Seattle Seahawks, would come out to Qwest Field on Saturday afternoon and push them around for a spot in the NFC Championship game.
"It only got us more fired up," Wistrom said. "We already knew we had to step it up for the playoff game, but hearing that only helped us. Anytime you hear that kind of stuff out of the other team it motivates you even more." (Seahawks.com)
  • In the 4th Quarter, Bryce Fisher sacked Brunell, caused the fumble, and Grant Wistrom recovered. (Seahawks Insider)
  • Among the Seattle Times Players of the game-- "Seattle DEs Bryce Fisher and Grant Wistrom: The ends combined for 12 tackles and a sack and chased QB Mark Brunell all over the field."
