  • 12/26/04 - Cowboys 13, Redskins 10: Starting just his second NFL game, Cowboys LB Scott Shanle led the team in tackles with 10, 7 solo.
  • 12/26/04 - Seahawks 24, Cardinals 21: Seahawks kicker Josh Brown improved his league-leading field goal percentage by hitting his only attempt of the day, a 34-yard field goal as time ran out in the first half for a 10-7 Seattle lead at halftime.
Cardinals DE Kyle Vanden Bosch started for the first time this season and had one tackle. On the other side, Seahawks DE Grant Wistrom was out with an injury and is no expected to return until the playoffs, to which the Seahawks have qualified. (AP)
  • 12/26/04 - Panthers 37, Buccaneers 20: On the first play of the game Bucs QB Brian Griese tripped while executing a play-action fake and Mike Rucker tagged him for an 11-yard sack. (Buccaneers.com)
  • This is how excited Minter was in the locker room after a 37-20 victory against the Bucs on Sunday.
Keep in mind, it has been well documented that Minter often has said he never has uttered a curse word. So what did Minter think about defensive tackle Kindal Moorehead's interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter?
"He's been doing a helluva job for us," Minter said.
Minter didn't blink and kept on expounding on Moorhead's contributions until he was informed of his language.
"Oh man, I did," Minter said. "Well...What can I say. He has been doing a great job and that's what you have to say. I love everything he's been doing for us. It's a crazy thing." (Knight Ridder Newspapers)
  • 12/24/04 - Packers 34, Vikings 31: Ahman Green, who left briefly with a head injury, carried 19 times for 64 yards and a 1-yard TD on 4th-and-goal.
