Details
  • 11/15/04 - New York Jets: Rookie DE Trevor Johnson, a seventh-round pick, was credited with four tackles on the nine plays he played against the Ravens. (Star-Ledger)
  • 11/14/04 - Bengals 17, Redskins 10: Kyle Larson's punt was slapped out from the 1-yard line by Kevin Walter and downed at the Washington 11-yard line. The Redskins started at the 11 with 1:01 remaining and no timeouts. The Bengals defense held when safety Kim Herring intercepted a Hail Mary bomb with five seconds left. (Cincinnati Enquirer)
Larson punted 6 times for a 39.7 average and a long of 49 yards.
  • 11/14/04 - Panthers 34, 49ers 27: Panthers DE Mike Rucker recovered a fumble at the San Francisco 21 which resulted in a Panthers field goal with 4:25 left. (AP)
Rucker finished the game with 3 solo tackles. Meanwhile, teammate Mike Minter led the Panthers with 9 tackles (7 solo) and a sack.
  • 11/14/04 - Rams 23, Seahawks 12: Rams guard Chris Dishman left in the second half with an injured left knee and will have an MRI on Monday.
The oft-maligned Rams special teams opened with a prank -- an end-around pitch on the opening kickoff, with DeJuan Groce taking the ball out to the 29. (Post-Dispatch)
The Seahawks' inability to score in the Red Zone meant K Josh Brown was their only source of points. Brown was 4 of 4 on field goals of 28, 30, 45, and 41 yards.
Grant Wistrom traveled to St. Louis but was listed as doubtful and was not able to play.
  • 11/14/04 - Packers 34, Vikings 31: Ahman Green rushed for 145 yards on 21 carries (6.9 avg) for the Packers despite injuring his left kneecap when he was leg-whipped in the first half.
Ahman Green got a cheer from the crowd when he switched hands form his left to his right in order to stiff-arm a defender at the end of a long run in the second quarter. Green has been criticized for his unwillingness to protect the ball in such a manner. (AP)
  • 11/14/04 - Colts 49, Texans 14: Houston K Kris Brown missed his only field goal attempt, a 55-yarder that sailed wide-lift. Teammate Jay Foreman had 5 tackles (3 solo).
  • 11/14/04 - Falcons 24, Bucs 14: Falcons LB Demorrio Williams continues to impress Falcons coaches, against the Buccaneers he had 6 solo tackles and a sack.
  • 11/14/04 - Patriots 29, Bills 6: After an outstanding game against the Jets, many felt that Bills DE Chris Kelsay won himself a permanent spot in the starting line-up. He played well again this week, getting his second sack in as many games though he only had 3 tackles.
